Eagle Owl in Soft Pastels with Cath Inglis SWA
A workshop focussing on the use of soft pastels, with a demonstration from Cath who will then help us to build up our own portraits of this magestic wild bird, the Eagle Owl. Lit dramatically from the side, this portrait is very eye-catching, and we will learn how to layer colours and create realistic tousled feathers, looking at capturing the owl's razor-sharp beak and shiny, watchful eye. Suitable for all abilities, with most materials provided.

Suitable for all abilities and those new to pastels. All the basic materials will be provided, but a list with a few useful additions you can also bring from home will be forwarded before the workshop.
10 am – 3.30 pm. Refreshments provided and with everyone bringing a packed lunch. Parking is on site. This is a non-residential workshop.
